The 2018 NFL Postseason Starting QBs

Five of the twelve NFL playoff starting quarterbacks will be making their first postseason start this year. Only three of the twelve have won a Super Bowl as a starting quarterback. Here's a look at the postseason resume of each of the projected starting quarterbacks that includes from where and when they were drafted, their win-loss record in playoff games, and their number of Super Bowl wins:

AFC

1. New England Patriots (13-3) - Tom Brady (Michigan, 6th Round) - 25-9, 5 Super Bowls
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (13-3) - Ben Roethlisberger (Miami, OH, 1st Round) - 13-7, 2 Super Bowls
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (10-6) - Blake Bortles (UCF, 1st Round) - 1st Postseason Appearance
4. Kansas City Chiefs (10-6) - Alex Smith (Utah, 1st Round) - 2-4
5. Tennessee Titans (9-7) - Marcus Mariota (Oregon, 1st Round) - 1st Postseason Appearance
6. Buffalo Bills (9-7) - Tyrod Taylor (Virginia Tech, 6th Round) - 1st Postseason Appearance

NFC

1. Philadelphia Eagles (13-3) - Nick Foles (Arizona, 3rd Round) - 0-1
2. Minnesota Vikings (13-3) - Case Keenum (Houston, Undrafted) - 1st Postseason Appearance
3. Los Angeles Rams (11-5) - Jared Goff (California, 1st Round) - 1st Postseason Appearance
4. New Orleans Saints (11-5) - Drew Brees (Purdue, 2nd Round) - 6-5, 1 Super Bowl
5. Carolina Panthers (11-5) - Cam Newton (Auburn, 1st Round) - 3-3
6. Atlanta Falcons (10-6) - Matt Ryan (Boston College, 1st Round) - 3-5

Pretty interesting that seven of the quarterbacks were drafted in the first round, but two came out of the sixth round while a third went undrafted all together.
