Thanks Tom Brady
And just like that, the streak is over. A seemingly safe pick of the New England Patriots, who entered the night with a record of 10-2 and winners of eight in a row, to beat the Miami Dolphins, a 5-7 team quarterbacked by Jay Cutler, was not to be. Forgetting that the Dolphins always play New England tough in Miami, I foolishly allowed myself to get comfortable and think win #17 was in the bag. Alas, Jay Cutler outperformed Tom Brady throwing for 263 yards and three scores as Miami hung on for a 27-20 win. And just like that, we're back to zero. It was a good run, but all good things must come to an end... But hey, at least the Patriots hater in me is glad that New England lost.
